Corley McBeth, DPT
Corley grew up in Des Moines, Washington and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from Gonzaga University. She crossed the country to attend graduate school at Columbia University in New York City where she earned a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree with an emphasis in orthopedics. Her interest in physical therapy began in high school after receiving treatment for a number of sports-related injuries and it has been her desire to help others return to the activities they love ever since. Her past clinical experience includes both in-patient rehabilitation and outpatient orthopedic settings. She has been a member of the American Physical Therapy Association since 2009. She is also a Certified Personal Trainer and a member of the American College of Sports Medicine.
Corley is very excited to be a part of the Movement Systems Physical Therapy team as she believes successful treatment integrates a comprehensive analysis of movement with a patient-centered approach. She values communication and patient education in order to develop working relationships with her patients to enable them to achieve their rehabilitation goals. Corley enjoys treating a variety of orthopedic injuries and has a particular interest in the pelvis, hip and knee, but is also skilled at treating conditions of the shoulder, neck, foot/ankle and spine. Additionally, she has a background and interest in treating athletes as well as weekend warriors and is passionate about strength training, which led her to develop the program Transformative Fitness.
Outside the clinic, Corley enjoys a number of recreational activities including running, hiking, yoga, and playing indoor soccer and basketball. She also finds time for weight training and participates in CrossFit. In addition, she is an avid sports fan and enjoys cheering on our Seattle teams. She loves living in the Pacific Northwest and spends time taking advantage of all of the great outdoor activities Seattle has to offer. She also enjoys traveling and has visited several cities throughout the United States, Europe, Canada and Puerto Rico.
