Doctor of Physical Therapy

My Philosophy of Care

I enjoy working with people of all backgrounds and levels of fitness and helping them move toward a higher level of function.  It is my firm belief that physical therapy should be collaborative and works best when patients have ownership in the process. Therefore, I value spending time with people in order to mutually decide what is important for our plan of care. I work with my patients to come up with an empowering, movement-based plan that allows them to return to meaningful activities in their lives. My goals are to provide compassionate care, create effective problem-solving strategies, and celebrate perseverance and growth.

  • Post-operative rehabilitation
  • Vestibular Rehabilitation

  • Concussion Management

I returned to Movement Systems after a new injury because they are fantastic. I went back to Nate Hadley because he is the greatest. Years ago he helped me recovery from a rotator cuff tear. Now he’s treating me for a knee strain. He us a a combination of manual therapy, graded exercise, massage and home exercises. Like some others there he is a doctor of PT, extensively trained, and very personable and caring.
They relocated to Westlake Ave and their new clinic is easy to get to and has a spectacular lake level view of a marina for a calming and restful experience.

My Personal Story

I grew up in nearby Mukilteo, WA and was a three-sport athlete in high school. My love for football took me to Spokane, where I was a four-year letterman on the Whitworth University football team. I experienced the value of physical therapy firsthand after a few football-related injuries. Since then, I have cherished the privilege of working side-by-side with people in order to help achieve their personal health and wellness goals. With my football days behind me, I enjoy staying active by working in my yard, playing with my kids at the playground, and taking walks with my family and friends in local Seattle parks and neighborhoods.

Whether you’re dealing with chronic or acute conditions, I would highly recommend Movements Systems as your first stop for expertly trained and across the board, industry respected and referred Doctors of Physical Therapy. In this clinic, you will never be handed off to a lesser trained “exercise tech” and will spend the entire session one-on-one with your doctor. I was initially referred by an orthopedic surgeon and could not be more grateful for the attention and care I have received. As a patient of Dr. Nate Hadley, I have received compassionate, holistic care that has supported my injury healing and physical goals. I’ve also had nothing but positive experiences with the office staff and billing department. Check them out!! :)
