My Philosophy of Care
I am a Doctor of Physical Therapy with a background in sports performance and orthopedics. I enjoy collaborating with you to achieve YOUR goals through manual therapy, movement, exercise prescription, and education. I look to answer your primary questions: What are you not able to do? What is preventing you from doing what you want to do? How does a physical therapist address your problems? What is the process? As your care provider, and expert in the movement system, my role is to identify and diagnose the root cause(s) of your symptoms and foster long term management and results. I aim to create an evolving and individualized plan to address the underlying root causes of your symptoms, teach you how to manage your condition and build self-efficacy, restore your ability to do what you want to do, and most importantly, keep you healthy in mind and body. Whether you aspire to climb Mt. Rainier or play with your grandkids, I am here to help you accomplish your goals!

My Personal Story
I am originally from northern Idaho where I grew up as a multisport athlete and spent most of my time outdoors. I went on to play football in college where my own injuries exposed me to the possibilities of a career in physical therapy. The fascination of the human body, problem solving and making a difference in patients’ lives keeps me motivated to progress as a clinician. Work-life balance is very important to me and I am still passionate about keeping my body and mind healthy. Whether it’s in the gym lifting weights or out in the mountains hiking and backcountry hunting, I’m “at home” while I’m active. As new residents to the city of Seattle, my wife and I are excited about exploring what the beautiful Pacific Northwest has to offer!
